The Carian Group Hiring for Technical Recruiter at Remote Full Time

We are a proud, woman-owned management consulting firm providing program/project management, capital project delivery, consulting, and technology solutions to our Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 customers in the renewable energy, power utilities, infrastructure, and transit/transportation sectors.

We are searching for a Technical Recruiter to assist in recruiting efforts for sourcing, screening, and placing full-time employees to support our various offices. This position accommodates remote work and will include periodic travel to our company headquarters in South Plainfield, NJ.

As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for working closely with our Talent Acquisition manager to help provide the overall operational and strategic support of the talent acquisition function within CARIAN. Our team is looking for a proactive and solutions-oriented specialist looking to continue supporting our mission to build rewarding and sustained relationships with our clients and people as we experience high-volume growth.

Responsibilities:

• Source, attract, and screen candidates within the electric utility and transportation/transit industries (project controls engineers and schedulers, program and project managers).
• Think strategically and act proactively to fill current and future needs and understand the value of building a pipeline for unique, competitive, or difficult-to-fill roles
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of client’s business and positions and effectively research to gain understanding of the industry and different client-supporting teams
• Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to maintain a clear understanding of all current and potential openings. Deliver the quality and quantity of candidates to support open requisitions within reasonable and requested time frames

• Manage talent pool activity and create recruitment metrics and processes to help drive business outcomes
• Support, consult, and sell candidate slate to our internal and external clients
• Build networks to source qualified passive candidates by using business acumen to support, consult, and present (sell) candidate slate in alignment with our internal and external clients

Required Experience:

• 6+ years of progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience
• Proven track record of placing project controls schedulers, engineers, and project managers for utility or transit industries
• Experience sourcing top talent for a variety of roles in a competitive market
• Experience managing multiple searches and competing demands through strong project management and prioritization skills

• Ability to work independently, set priorities, plan workflow, and take initiative
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) plus additional recruiting tools, including but not limited to, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business or related field OR a High School Diploma/ General Education Development (GED) with four (4) years of related work experience
