We are actively recruiting for Support Workers within our Children’s homes!

*A Full UK Driving licence is required due to the locality of our homes and to provide access to education*

Salary:

£18,921.24 per annum if you do not have the Level 3 in Children’s Residential or equivalent or £20,178.60 per annum if you are qualified to Level 3 in Children’s Residential or equivalent.

Sleep ins incur an uplift of £30 per shift on your salary.

Hours:

This is a permanent, full time position. Consisting of an average of 169 hours per month on a rolling rota.

Shift hours are 07:30 – 23:00 with sleep ins required. You will most probably carry out an average of 6-8 sleep ins a month.

The rota will have you typically working 1 shift on and 2 days off depending on cover and annual leave. We strive to give at least one full weekend off every month with you working either Saturday or Sunday on the other weeks.

The type of day-to-day duties can include:

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People
• Providing encouragement (getting ready for school)

• Care Planning
• Transportation (use of company car)
• Organising and facilitating Social Activities (out of school)
• Maintaining the home (meal planning, laundry, cleaning and shopping etc)
• Liaising with external Stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team

Complex Trauma Services

Complex Trauma Services provide a specialist therapeutic service that supports young children who have experienced complex trauma. In addition to this we have a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians who can offer direct therapeutic work to the children using a range of therapeutic models. Staff are supported through clinical supervision, reflective practice and regular on-going training.

The age of the children in our care range between 6 – 12 years and we work with these children typically over an 18 month period, in order that they can go on to have successful lives within a family environment.
