Job Overview

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager s directly to the Director of Marketing & Customer Experience.

Experience and works closely with managing partners and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for promoting the organization and helping develop an effective organic and paid social media brand strategy. Manage the company’s reputation ensuring brand consistency and identifying potential areas for brand building and growth. The Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager should have a strong grasp of current marketing trends and how to run a campaign from concept to execution.

This candidate will have a passion for all things social, marketing and technology.

Duties:

• Create an effective cross-platform social media strategy, incorporating all other channels
• Responsible for the entire digital ecosystem campaign creation; from strategy to tracking and analysis across all platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube, Linkedin, Twitter etc)
• Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns that promote current marketing initiatives
• Measure and performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals

(ROAS and KPIs)

• Prioritize work and resources across all social media platforms based on short- and long-term needs, establishing quarterly schedules for content by collaborating with leadership, content & copy teams
• Responsible for the targeting and audience creation and strategy
• Manage annual ad spend budget over $1M
• Responsible for the creation, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of remarketing and conversion tracking pixels across website
• Executing keyword research for paid search marketing campaigns
• Implement monthly content planning, incorporating PR and marketing initiatives into plans
• Develop strategies to drive an increase in web traffic, online sales & social media engagement
• Create monthly social media content calendars- strategy & ideation for Bug Bite Thing & Kelley

Higney channels

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm campaign ideas to drive sales
• Submit monthly briefs for campaigns, promotions, and special events
• Review analytics and search performance s assessing the success of content marketing initiatives
• Perform regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated, and relevant to the target audience
• Stay up to date on digital design trends and bring insights to help optimize campaign planning, content strategy and prioritize efforts to scale the business
• Drive the growth of Bug Bite Thing & Kelley Higney CEO social media platforms, meeting and exceeding KPIs based on current benchmarks, seasonality, and growth trajectory
• Manage paid marketing spend and ROAS, adjusting as needed to maximize sales.
• Assist Marketing Director with additional tasks as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
• A minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in marketing or a related field
• Knowledge of SEO, web traffic and direct to consumer marketing
• 5-10 years experience managing paid digital marketing
• Strong and proven google analytics understanding
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices for content on each
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
• Ability to provide actionable insights based on data and ing
• Trend watching- stays up to date on all social media trends by platform

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
