The ideal professional can:

• Create, modify, differentiate, and deliver lesson plans, meeting the needs of the students

• Engage students through quality student-centered instruction

• Effectively communicate in both oral and written formats

• Use technology efficiently (i.e navigating platforms, uploading materials, finding additional virtual activities, etc. )

• Treat individuals with dignity and respect including providing opportunities to engage in decision-making and constructive activities to the extent that they are able to

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of educational experience (i.e college education, classroom, homeschool experience, etc.)
• Active teaching licenses (preferred)

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Conduct formal/informal assessments

• Successfully pass a background check

• Must be able to teach learners with varying abilities (i.e learning disabilities, English language learners, etc.) in an inclusive environment.

• Will conduct individual and group sessions virtually

• Follow Federal, State, and The Brainery’s safety protocols
• Ability to work in-person preferred

Hours & Salary:

Part-Time Contractor

Homeschool: 9 am- 3 pm; Tuesday & Thursday (Virtual Classes)

Evening Tutoring: Set your own availability

Starting Salary based on education level:

• Bachelors- $25hr

• Masters- $30 hr

Homeschool Courses

• Math 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade, and Algebra

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and children must wear a face mask, maintain social distance, and follow sanitizing regulations during in-person sessions.

License/Certification:
