Exciting new opportunity for a Test Lead to join a greenfield project across 4 Brands to deliver, manage and own testing strategy of the technical landscape for the new group Workday (HRIS) solution

Facilitate recruitment and management of our own test team.

More about the role
As a Workday Test Lead, you will be a key member of the engagement team, who advises and guides stakeholders through not only the development of a testing strategy and plans but also building up the test team and conducting test cycles to successful acceptance.
You will ensure the Workday solution meet desired business requirements and can be used effectively in their targeted business environments.
As a Test Lead, you define the test strategy balancing complexity with efficiency, embracing brands’ specificities and project requirements. You are also looking after the different components of the Workday solution, i.e. core HCM and other modules (functional components) as well as all integrations (technical components).
With strong organisational and interpersonal skills, you will coordinate multiple members from different backgrounds, locations both in and out of the organisation (3rd Parties). You will follow a matrix report, providing a timely and accurate status reports to your Senior HRIS Manager and Programme Delivery Lead as well as mitigations for key risks and issues raised within your perimeter.

Guide to map test scenarios to business processes in preparation for testing.
Work with the Subject Matter Experts to ensure testing scenarios are created in accordance with project quality standards.
Schedule test activities, including coordination of rooms, equipment, and testing resources (test team, organisation, and 3rd parties).
Serve as the overall Test Manager responsible for testing administration, testing tools, testing preparation, status updates, and overall incident reporting.
Work with the Subject Matter Experts to ensure all test scenarios are executed and results documented in each cycle: unit testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
Prepare final reports after each test phase is completed – end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, system integration testing, and regression testing.
Manage defects throughout test cycles
2-3 Lifecycles as Test Lead in the deployment of HCM solution (Workday required)
Staff management of a test team
3+ years of experience in creating Test Strategies and Test Plans
Experience working in Retail related projects preferred
Strong experience building Test Scenarios, or Use Cases based on proposed configuration.
Strong background in Workday deployment methodology and processes
Strong stakeholder management
Good 3rd Party relationships
Experience in an international, fast-paced, and multicultural environment
Good knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel as well as test and defect management systems
