New role…Shared Services Accountant required.

Are you free for a new 12 Month fixed term contract role to start ASAP!

Reporting to the FSS Manager, you will be supporting the FSS month end accounting processes and analysis, covering the FSS Cash Manager in relation to banking tasks, and supporting the FSS manager with Projects including AP Automation. Other ad hoc accounting and reporting tasks as directed by the FSS Manager.

More about the role

• Responsible for FSS month end accounting processes, including, but not limited to, GRIR, AR Cash Flow, Posting of Bad Debt, AP/AR revaluation
• Responsible for the monitoring, reporting and cleansing of the GRIR monthly, including end to end process improvements and implementation.
• Providing cover for the FSS Cash Manager in relation to approvals and banking tasks.
• Supporting the FSS Manager with the AP Automation project. To include implementation of remaining centralised markets assisting with design and process where required. Fully understanding the automation process to enable analysis and further improvements in relation to markets already implemented.
• Support the Cash, AP, and AR teams with process improvements and financial analysis.
• Other Ad Hoc FSS Projects such as integration of new markets, and continuous improvement.

What we look for

• Full or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
• Previous experience of working in an international finance environment
• Experience of working in an FMCG/Retail environment
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, intermediate excel essential
• Knowledge of SAP/BW or similar systems
• Excellent organisational skills combined with accuracy and attention to detail
