The Bike Club are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our fast-growing team. If you have a background in Finance and are looking for a role in an exciting fast paced start-up environment this may be the role for you!

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR….

Finance business partnering

· Responsible for owning the financial aspects of our member onboarding cycle. This includes the running of the daily credit checking process.

· Assist the financial interactions we have with our members, whether they need to change their direct debit days, or the issuing of refunds.

· Assist any other teams with pieces of analysis with the help of the Finance Manager.

Day-to-day Finance

· Own the Accounts payable process. This involves the daily upkeep of the finance inbox and pushing invoices correctly through to our accounting platform Xero.

· Daily bank reconciliations.

· Liaising with the Finance Manager on the month-end processes and helping to close out the monthly reporting requirements.

Ad-hoc analysis

· Any pieces of ad-hoc analysis required from other teams or members of the Senior Management Team.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU…

· Have a finance background (1 years accounting experience is desirable) and are looking for a friendly working environment.

· Have strong excel skills – ability to analyse large amounts of data.

· Have some foundation level accounting knowledge

· Are able to work autonomously and are not afraid to take initiative.

· Have a strong attention to detail while also able to understand the big picture.

· Have great communication skills

· Can drive change – we are always learning and looking to improve.

· Are based in/able to commute to our Gibraltar office.
