Finance Management Accountant

Salary: £40-45k

Role Purpose

An integral part of the Finance team, supporting the Brand Finance Director or Group Finance Business Partner in the financial management of a brand and the wider group. Key priority of the role is to support with the completion of management accounts with focus on key identified areas. This ownership will involve close partnership with both financial and non-financial stakeholders to support the business in achieving its goals.

Responsibilities:

• Producing timely and accurate management accounts for a designated area of the business, as well as providing other management information as required to support the business.
• To support the Brand FD & Commercial Business Partner complete reporting on a regular basis (weekly, monthly and ad-hoc).
• To assist in the challenge, control and measurement of return on marketing spend with the marketing team.
• To own the budgeting and forecasting for the designated area of the P&L for which the role is responsible for at month end.
• To support the aggregation, articulation and distribution of site budgets, monthly P&Ls and transaction listings to restaurants.
• To support the Brand FD and / or Group Finance Business Partner in dealing with operational financial queries and challenge.
• Support will relate to completion of budgets and forecasts, analysis of weekly and monthly performance, plus any ad hoc required value-add analysis.
• To build trusted partnerships across the Brand, being the go-to person for their designated area of the P&L as well as supporting restaurants with P&L queries.
• To develop and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers.
• Ownership of balance sheets and accounting policies for the designated area of the P&L.
• To support the Group Financial Controller in the year end audit process
