The Bedford College Group Hiring for Lecturer – Teacher Education Job at Bedford, England Full Time

We have a great opportunity based at our Bedford College campus for a Lecturer in Teacher Education to become a key member of our Adult and Communiuty Learning department.

As a Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in the success of colleges and their students through:

• the preparation, delivery, assessment and verification of subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
• supporting and guiding students to achieve success and realise their potential.
• managing students’ learning and provide a high quality learning experience.
• contributing pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
• participating in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities

Our ideal candidates will have experience of operating in a similar role previous, with demonstrable experience of preparing schemes of work that fully meet awarding body requirement and moninitor and recording student progress against standards and deadlines.

Candidates must be hold a Degree in Education or a closely related subject, alongside Cert Ed or equivalent qualification.

Terms and Conditions – Bedford College

• 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE) / 52 weeks per year
• from £26,000 per annum, pro rata for part-time
• 45 days per annum (including public holidays), pro rata for part-time
