The BCI Hiring for Education Operations Manager Job at Reading, England Full Time

The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) is the world-leading professional association for business continuity and resilience professionals with more than 9,000 members in over 100 countries.

The overall purpose of this role is to support the department in delivering the BCIs Global Strategy and Departmental Goals.

The person in this role will seek to provide high quality Customer Service to all external stakeholders. The person must also have excellent administrative skills to deliver the operational elements of this role. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial for success. Representing the BCI at a number of external events will also be required.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist with achieving the BCI education and training strategic objectives;
• Working to deadlines and agreed budgets;
• Plan, manage and track the end to end project life-cycle for all departmental projects.
• Day to day management of administrators.
• Manage internal processes to ensure education products are delivered on time and within budget, providing a good experience to both internal and external customers.
• Liaise with all stakeholders at all levels regarding training course and examination delivery, invoicing, reporting and enquiries.
• Retain in-depth knowledge of all Education & Training products, services, and processes to provide continued hands-on support with all administration.

Skills

• Excellent standard of education particularly in relation to English Language and Mathematics skills.
• Good Project Management, Customer Service and Administration skills.
• Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Ability to engage with customers at all levels including junior, mid and senior management levels building strong relationships, trust and mutual respect.
• Ability to investigate issues and formulate strategies to make improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy at all times.
• Excellent IT skills including use of MS Office packages ie Outlook, Excel, Teams and Word.
• Working knowledge of MS Dynamics CRM.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week, with hybrid working both remotely and at the BCIs Central Offices in Reading, Berkshire.
