The Arnott’s Group Hiring for 12Hour Night Shift Machine Operator Full Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of Australia’s most iconic businesses. We have exciting opportunities for Machine Operators to join our Huntingwood Facility.

This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys a fast paced enviroment

• Ability to adjust line and equipment settings via touch screens as required and within specifications;
• Understand the importance of quality checks and carry these out as required;
• Monitor product standards, identify and escalate any issues;
• Exposure to product change over’s and shut down procedures;
• Manual handling when required
• Participate in maintenance, continuous improvement (CI) and team meetings;
• Undertake housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities.

The ingredients to be successful:

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills;
• Experience in a fast paced FMCG environment ideally within the food industry
• Be able to work unsupervised in a team environment;
• Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written;
• Thorough understanding of safety, health and environment as well as HACCP;
• Previous line experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded.
• Ability to understand and follow SOPs and adhere to written instructions;
• Experience working automated manufacturing lines;
• This role requires you to work a 7 day fortnight, including every second weekend on night shift
• FLD licence not essential but desirable
• Ability to commit to overtime when required
• Current rate of $40-$45 per hour ( Full time Role )
