The Archdiocese of Baltimore Hiring for Teacher, Grade at Catonsville, MD Full Time

St. Agnes School, located in Catonsville, MD, is seeking a full-time teacher to provide instruction for a self-contained 2nd grade classroom. The teacher will be responsible for integrating the mission of St. Agnes School in all planning, teaching, grading, and in all school duties for the betterment of our students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study.
• Provides grade appropriate instruction for Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies and Religion classes on a first grade level
• Maintains an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment.
• Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff and administration as outlined by the St. Agnes School Parent Handbook and Faculty/Staff Handbook.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in education or other related field.
• Current MSDE certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic fully able to participate in church life.
• Must be comfortable with technology such as laptops, Chromebooks, website maintenance, interactive white boards, etc.
• Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
