The Archdiocese of Baltimore Hiring for Teacher, Grade ‘- at Baltimore, MD Full Time

St. Ursula School in Parkville, Maryland, is seeking a candidate for a 4th grade teaching position. The teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards-based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement lessons consistent with the Archdiocesan curriculum guidelines
• Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum
• Communicate with parents in a professional and timely manner
• Participate in faculty meetings, committee meetings, professional development
• opportunities, and retreats
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers to plan and implement
• lessons based on student needs
• Assess students fairly and regularly
• Actively supervise students at all times. Perform non-teaching related duties such as recess and lunch duty and parking lot duty
• Maintain professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Qualifications:

• Current MSDE certification
• Strong technology skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
