The Arc Central Chesapeake Region (The Arc) supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to live, work, and connect with their community.
As the Manager of Talent Experience, you will have an essential role in supporting employee retention and coaching efforts, reporting data and performance measures, and communicating respectfully with employees about their questions and options.
The Manager of Talent Experience reports to the Director of Talent Experience and will liaise between managers and employees to identify and solve performance issues and workplace conflicts. They will also assist with incident investigations, internal investigations, and tracking trends in safety data, exit interviews, and other reports. Our organization values Results Based Accountability (RBA) to track and measure progress within our Talent Experience goals, so the ability to develop, track, and maintain consistent and thorough reports will be necessary. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is tech savvy, calm under pressure, and able to exercise good judgment in sensitive situations.
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with a minimum of six years of professional HR experience with progressive leadership roles. Experience may be substituted for a degree. SHRM or HRCI Certifications are strongly desired, and the candidate must have a thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor relations. The salary is $70,000 annually and includes a competitive benefits package.
