Aptus is looking for Substitute Teachers who are available to work in the Greater Los Angeles area. Compensation for the position is in the range of $21.50 – $26.00 per hour, along with benefits for full time employees. Scheduling can be variable on the daily, although demand for substitute teachers is always high.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Teaching Credential or a 30-day permit recognized by the CTC.
• Bachelor’s Degree
  • assistance available to attain substitute credential
• Preferred class experience.

Job Description:

• Follow COVID safety regulations
• Teach students basic learning skills and subject matter.
• To maintain and reinforce appropriate pupil behavior, attitudes, and social skills.
• Participates in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
• May perform related duties such as sponsoring one or more activities or student in adjustment and academic problems.
