The Agency Worx Hiring for WATCH APPRAISAL SPECIALIST at Moonachie, New Jersey Full Time

Our client is seeking a FULL-TIME WATCH PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST to join their Fine Jewelry & Watch team! The role of a procurement specialist is to manage each part of the supply chain. In this position it is crucial to develop sound, cost-effective strategies for purchasing the right items with the highest margins.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Meet or Exceed quarterly productivity goals 
• Provide online quotes using employee’s training manuals and reference guides to identify the brand, style and an approximate store price. 
• Create appropriate consignment and buyout offers that adhere to the current buying strategies. 
• Accurately complete the review process by assessing the item’s condition, confirming the  correct style, size, color, materials and original retail price, and adjusting the buyout offer and/or store price as necessary.
• Assist with Showroom procurement by providing quotes in a  one-on-one atmosphere, assisting clients with the selling process, and maintaining a friendly and professional rapport. 
• Assist with remote Showroom and Studio quoting.  
• Review and communicate any and all issues or pertinent information to the Timepiece Manager. 
• Assist with training new hires.
• Assist with Quote Approvals, including reviewing quotes created by others in the department, assigning necessary tasks to other employees, and following up with completed tasks.
• Assist with Item Approvals.

• Maintain a clean working environment
• Respond to any tasks, tags, emails or Slack messages in a timely manner (one business day) 
• Work professionally within a team as well as independently 
• Effectively manage time and operate with efficiency and accuracy
• Attend all appropriate training classes and all department meetings 
• Maintain understanding of the functionality of other departments including Client Services, Inventory, Check-In and Shipping 
• Learn to use the Admin website proficiently 
• Reviews should be completed the same day they are  delivered to the employee by the Runner, with a maximum completion period of one business day after being received.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Minimum one year experience in Timepiece Experience.
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Excellent written and verbal communication; full proficiency in English language including reading, writing, grammar and spelling
• Proficient typing skills (30 wpm+)  
• Able to navigate the internet and using basic search functions  
• Proficient in basic word processing skills  
• Simple math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
