Welcome from The Head

The Deputy Head Sixth Form and Outcomes has overall responsibility for the Sixth Form, tertiary education and other opportunities, and the employment and aspiration programme.

The post reports directly to the Executive Head, who has overall responsibility for The Abbey and direct responsibility for the Senior School. It is a key part of the Senior School Leadership Team, together with the Deputy Head Ethos and Pastoral, the Deputy Head Academic and Staff Development and two Assistant Heads.
The Deputy Head Sixth Form and Outcomes leads the Sixth Form Team, including the Director of Sixth Form Operations, the Director of IB Programme, the Head of Sixth Form Enrichment and the Head of Employment, Opportunity and Aspiration, and the team of Senior (Sixth-Form) Tutors.

The post-holder also works closely with senior colleagues across the age range of the School, with a particular focus on helping to ensure that the culture and curriculum of the Senior School through each of its three stages align and prepare effectively for Sixth Form and life beyond The Abbey.
