Location: Enfield (Education Centre), North London / remote

Hours: Open to Part-time (28.8 hours per week)

What you’ll be doing

We are excited to launch our search for a new Education Executive, who will enhance the teaching and learning of water for young people across our region. As part of an education team, you will support the company’s aims to increase awareness of our core business of water and wastewater services for all our younger customers.

This role will include the delivery of education sessions at our Deepham education centre at our sewage works in Enfield, as well as our other educational centres across the region when required. The post holder will also manage key environmental education projects in the region and deliver a range of education events both in schools and at the centre.

We’re looking for you

• To an engaging and enthusiastic individual with experience of leading school or youth groups, who will be confident to run sessions at our education centres or in schools. Teaching qualifications would be desirable but candidates with other qualifications and experience would be considered
• A strong influencer and with excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to think outside the box, develop new and innovative solutions and work in a fast-paced Corporate Affairs environment
• To have previous experience in delivering multi-stakeholder projects in the education and/or environmental sector would be desirable
• To have good relationship-building skills, as you will interact with our customers, stakeholders, and different teams within Thames Water
