About Your Role

In this exciting opportunity you will develop and maintain automation tools to contribute to the automation of artefact production and gathering for process gates as well as data management.

• Setup a dedicated data pipeline and delivery artefacts generation to increase software engineering productivity and accuracy

• Developing software to meet customer requirements including design, reuse, development, integration and verification

• Specifying, designing, coding and unit testing software components in line with functional requirements

• Assembling the software components in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behaviour, interactions and performance

• Participating in the specification of the functions and interfaces of products to be developed

• Ensuring the timely delivery of software releases in support of the integration and test program

• Participating in technical reviews, workshops, peer reviews and project reviews as appropriate for the program

How About You?

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or other relevant qualification

• Experience of developing software in a commercial environment, ideally working across multiple software components or teams

• Understanding of configuration management tools and continuous build environment such as e.g. BitBucket, DOORS

• Familiarity in packed and diverse API including developing data pipeline

• A good understanding of CICD usage and tooling

• Solid understanding of the total life cycle of software development, including processes and responsibilities at each stage in the cycle

• Knowledge of software estimation, design, development and unit testing

• Any exposure to large scale or distributed systems would be beneficial

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
