We are currently looking for a Software Analyst Intern/Co-op to join the Research & Technology team in the Toronto, Canada Office.

Term Start: January 2020

Duration 4, 8 or 12 Months

In order to qualify for this intern or co-op role, you must meet all of the following requirements:

Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and eligible for an internship or co-op

Successful candidate should be working towards a degree (Bachelors, Masters, MCA) in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or closely related field, but more ideally from the Electrical Engineering field, as the team has a need to be hands on and can work with sensor hardware and electronics

Able to work Full Time for the specified term lengths

Software development experience in C++ or C

Exceptional scripting or programming skills in languages Python or Ruby

Knowledge of MATLAB, ROS, SQL, MongoDB, and Arduino is an asset

Practical experience with object oriented techniques, multithreading, socket programming, computer network, and Linux

Knowledge of STL, Boost, MFC, UML, and design patterns

Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, methods and tools

Capable of performing electrical and mechanical hands-on work in developing prototypes and test platforms
