The primary responsibility of the ITV Specialist Junior is as follows:

Acts as the support for a system or sub-system integration in-house and on site. The ITV Specialist – Junior will define the integration/test/verification plan.

Reviews the requirements against the standards and to assess for testability

Will closely work with the ITV team to deliver artifacts for in-house verification – Test Objectives

Will work with the team to develop test scenarios, test steps, and bust-it procedures

Manage and execute the tests (dry-run and formal execution) for a project –SW build by build

Work with ITV management closely to bridge the works at hand to achieve the common goals for assigned project

He/she is technically responsible for the in-house integration/test/verification activities under the project. He/she works with the other Engineering departments in order to ensure that the platform integration, processes, and tools are sufficient to meet the project milestones/deadlines.

Key Accountabilities:
Support the Lead ITV Specialist with the system/sub-system deliverables

Create and maintains all documentation related to the project ITV activities

Work with the ITV team to understand the works to be completed for a given sub-system/Systems deliverables per gate

Take part in reviews with other discipline on the requirements

Develop test objectives, test scenarios, test steps for logical functions

Verify test objectives/scenarios being generated by the team/peers

Stays current with technology by attending workshops and through self-learning and experimentation.

Reviews the software development cycle periodically to evaluate the applicability of new development strategies such as Agile etc.
