2023 Talent Acquisition Specialist

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute TSV’s sourcing strategy using a multi-pronged approach to include technology platforms, associations, targeted cold calling, internal and external networking for high demand candidates and hard to fill roles.
- Manage multiple clients and competing priorities while executing on strategies designed to position Textron as an “employer of choice”, to attract qualified talent, and to fill open positions.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders as well as candidates in the industry to continually broaden potential candidate pools and advance the Textron Brand.
- Develop an expertise on business intelligence in the market to facilitate sourcing efforts and to devise and carry out a targeted research strategy.
- Meet standard measurements of success for staffing, such as annual hiring and pipeline conversion goals.
- Drive and sell TSV by understanding and successfully articulating business initiatives and company culture.
- Deliver a balance of quality and quantity in candidate pipeline.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and regular check-ins with the talent acquisition team to understand the scope of support and key priorities.
- Follow and adhere to Textron’s diversity sourcing initiatives and guidelines.
- Represent talent acquisition and serve as a project manager on projects and initiatives as needed.
- Travel required 70-80% of the time to attend industry conferences, career fairs, association meetings, and Textron office locations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, communications, sales, marketing, or a related discipline
- Years of Experience: 0+ years of experience required
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office suite, applicant tracking systems, knowledge of various methods of creative Internet sourcing (e.g., blogs, social and professional networking sites, Advanced Boolean search logic, search modifiers, Internet mining techniques); direct, cold-call sourcing experience highly preferred
