JOB TITLE: Commercial Lender

SUMMARY:
The Commercial Lender is responsible for new business development, portfolio management and underwriting to support the needs of the group. This role will focus on primarily on loan transactions and relationships of $1,000,000 or more that are supported by new or stabilized commercial real estate properties.

Job Duties and Essential Functions:

 Increasing the Bank’s profitability by cultivating and increasing new business relationships.
 Maintain and develop customer relationships, new business, and periodic review of existing loan arrangements.
 Negotiate proper loan structures, promoting the Bank’s credit and non-credit products.
 Stay abreast of corporate banking knowledge, credit and non-credit products, trust, real estate, treasury management and other bank functions.
 Maintain knowledge of accounting and financial principles, marketing and sales principles, credit analysis, economics and other bank functions.
 Regular and timely physical attendance during assigned work hours.
 Work effectively as a member of the TexasBank Team
 Ensure confidentiality of personnel records and all other discretionary information.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Five+ years proven commercial real estate lending experience
• Strong marketing and business development experience with a proven track record of originating term loans on commercial multi-family real estate properties
• Commercial real estate market knowledge required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with people
• Strong commitment and track record to providing high quality service levels to both external and internal customers
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technological systems and business processes
• A four-year college degree preferred– not required
• Formal Credit Training preferred – not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $62.00 per hour
