Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the technical implementation of marketing campaigns, for ensuring data capture and for ing lead generation and campaign-level results related to email marketing, digital advertising, and search engine optimization. This position is also responsible for marketing implementation of the customer relationship management (CRM) system.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement email campaigns to promote products and services and ensuring marketing automation, email sequencing, audience segmentation and data capture support the buyer journey.
  • Track, analyze and on the effectiveness of email marketing campaigns, digital advertising and search engine optimization using quantifiable metrics.
  • Implement digital and traditional advertising campaigns, including audience segmentation and optimizing results within a defined budget.
  • Plan and manage the content calendar for the following channels: email marketing, digital advertising and search engine optimization.
  • Serve as an implementation point of contact for email marketing, digital advertising, search engine optimization and CRM vendors.
  • Ensure data from all marketing channels are appropriately feeding into the CRM.
  • Implement and maintain the lead scoring process for marketing qualified leads.
  • Conduct research related to the buyer journey, personas, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Serve as member of the content review team.
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure marketing data is actionable for sales.
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least three years of marketing experience
  • At least one year of experience in digital marketing campaign execution
  • Strong experience evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and providing solutions that align with company goals
  • Ability to organize marketing operations to extract the most useful data for business decision making
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through testing and optimization
  • Experience with email campaigns, customer relationship management tools, survey platforms and marketing automation applications
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite – i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must pay close attention to detail and demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
  • Must be available after hours and on weekends for events


PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFIICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related degree
  • Proficiency with SEM, SEO, PPC metrics and analytics
  • Proficiency with marketing automation
  • Strong understanding of Customer Relationship Management software
  • Proficiency with content management systems (i.e., WordPress)
  • Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite


REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Valid Class C driver’s license
  • Safe driving for the past three years
