The Position

We have a newly created opportunity at Teva for an experienced Human Resources professional with a Generalist background to come and join our friendly, close-knit team. This is a permanent part-time position/3 days per week.

As Human Resources Manager, you will partner with the business on a broad range of HR practices, working together to build capabilities, develop approaches that achieve shared business objectives and help to shape positive change.

To be successful in this position, you will have strong communication, influencing and business partnering skills with the confidence and ability to develop, implement and manage HR initiatives that address current and future workforce challenges. Additionally, you will have experience with delivery of HR training and have a flair for data management and analysis when working with Human Resources metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with TA team to co-ordinate HR aspects of recruitment
• Prepare and conduct orientation for new employees, co-ordinate quarterly induction program, and deliver HR training on platforms & processes.
• Manage work visas as required, in conjunction with external partners.
• Work with line managers to ensure all employee related activities remain compliant with policies, procedures and legislations.
• Assist with bi-annual performance review and annual merit review process.
• Consolidate and analyse data from HR & payroll systems to monitor people metrics.
• Support on Learning & Development initiatives, as well as coordinating employee engagement activities and other related events.
• Update the Employee Handbook (HR Policies & Procedures) as required to ensure compliance with labour laws.
• Prepare and submit annual compensation data to ensure timely provision of market data.

The Successful Candidate

• Degree or Certificate in HR, with a minimum of 3 years Human Resources generalist experience working in multi-national companies
• Working knowledge of Australia & New Zealand employment/labour laws

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization and diverse client groups
• Experience providing In person & virtual training on core HR platforms, policies & procedures
• HRIS experience, preferably with SAP.
• Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment is essential
• MS Office proficiency (Work, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with data management and analysis would be advantageous
