Testlio Hiring for Remote Freelance Software Tester Job at Remote Full Time

Hi there!

I’m Stefania from Testlio, a global software testing company. We are currently looking for remote freelance testers in the United States for exciting projects and would like to extend these opportunities to you!

Prior software testing experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

We have several ongoing projects that involve analytics testing and functional testing. For these, applicants need to use their own devices in order to conduct testing

Analytics testing – Remote, anywhere in the United States

Testing will take place Bi-weekly and ad-hoc, with test runs lasting around 3h. For this project, you should have at least one of the following devices:

• Vizio TV (2019 or newer) – Please note we have to whitelist the TV. Due to this, the apps on the Smart TV will not work (i.e. Netflix). If you do not have a device to supplement, we will purchase a Fire TV or Roku to replace the functionality for you.
• LG (2019 or newer)
• Tizen (2019 or newer)
• Apple TV (iOS 15 beta version) – you must be willing to upgrade to this version of iOS for testing purposes.

Functional testing – Remote, Colorado and Nebraska

This project will take place every other weekend, with testing runs lasting around 2h. Required smartphone devices:

• Android 5.0 or newer
• iOS 12.1 or newer

The payment rate is $18 USD / h. Payments are made weekly via PayPal or Payoneer.

How to sign up with Testlio?

Signing up for Testlio is easy. If you have one of these devices, sing up through the link above so that we may contact you about our opportunities faster. Once you have set up an account on our platform, you must complete your profile and update your device list, payment method and preferred working hours.

Your profile and device list are important in matching you with different projects as they come up. In terms of your device list, be sure to add all of your devices, including phones, tablets, desktop PCs, TVs, gaming consoles, etc.

Finally, in order to be eligible for paid projects, you must pass our vetting tests. On our platform you will find the Competency Assessment Test. Once you pass that, you will be accepted into the project. Taking the test usually requires 20-30 minutes. We provide guides and reading materials prior and during the test in order to ensure you get the best results.

Can anyone sing up with Testlio?

We encourage anyone who is interested in software testing to sign up. As projects are set up, different devices may be needed. If your profile and device list line up with the projects, you will be invited to take part. However, if you do not have the devices listed here, please consider signing up directly through Testlio.com.

Note: You have to be at least 18 years old in order to sign up.

How does testing look like?

If your profile and device list match up with a project, you will receive an email invitation through which you can apply. This typically involves filling out a short form. From there, our teams will get in touch with you about the opportunity.

You will be taken through an onboarding phase which typically involves a practice run for which you will also be compensated.

Each project consists of testing runs. You will be invited to participate in a run that has a starting and end time. You will have to complete your work within that timeframe.
