Tesla Hiring for Senior Finance Analyst Job at Sydney Full Time

The Role

Tesla is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst based in Sydney to support our Australian and NZ operations.

Reporting to the ANZ Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will be a hands-on all-rounder with an Accounting or Finance background who is willing to assist in a wide range of analytical and administration aspects of the business. Business-partnering opportunities will be on offer in areas such as management accounting, financial reporting, cost control, accounts payable/receivable management and accounting processes/controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily accounting operations
• Advise on accounting treatment of local business arrangements
• Assist with month-end reporting including preparing reconciliations and analysis
• Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements
• Ensure accuracy of tax reconciliation for federal, state and local indirect tax
• Support annual statutory audit process
• Drive process improvement and support the business team during the growth period
• Other financial and/or accounting related tasks are to be performed as assigned

Requirements

• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years post qualified commercial experience
• Audit experience at Big Four accounting firm preferred
• Ability to work independently, detail oriented, and execution focused
• You will need to have a flexible approach to work and a ‘can do’ attitude. Able to operate effectively in and comfortable working in a very fast moving, developing and constantly changing company
• Excellent communication skills
• Inquisitive, tenacious, pro-active and able to be assertive whilst maintaining a positive and team focused approach
• Strong Microsoft skills (Excel and Word)
• Extensive experience with accounting ERP systems
