Graduates play a critical role in our Finance teams, which are embedded within every part of Tesco. The size and scope of our business ensures you’ll get wide-ranging and fascinating experiences across the three years of the programme. You could be providing analysis to business leaders that inspires change in our stores, creating and landing financial plans and budgets for the year ahead, contributing to the writing of Tesco’s Annual Report, or working with our international shareholders in Investor Relations.

You will be responsible for

During your programme we’ll support you through your CIMA studies, with paid leave and the breadth of experience you’ll need for the practical requirements of the qualification. You’ll also be supported by your colleagues – a dedicated programme team, a mentor and one-on-one director sponsorship.

CIMA

Successful completion of CIMA’s Professional Qualification will lead to the designation of Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). The qualification is recognised worldwide as the most relevant global finance qualification for a career in business.

Management Accounting combines accounting, finance and management with the business skills and techniques you’ll need to add real value. Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMAs) are qualified to work across businesses, not just in finance, advising managers on the financial implications of big decisions, formulating business strategy and monitoring risk

You’ll need to be a great teammate, and able to accurately and confidently apply the technical skillset learned in your CIMA studies.
