Title: Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Kansas City, MO

Reports To: Director of Human Resources

Salary: starts at $25.00 per hour

Job Description:

Terrapin is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our growing company. As a Boulder, Colo.-based national cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator, processor and provider of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products. Over 10 years of operations, Terrapin has grown into a multi-state company with nearly 500 employees. As we have expanded nationally, our need for Talent Acquisition Coordinator has grown significantly.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator’s role is to provide a seamless candidate experience from the job posting through on-boarding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for posting jobs in the ATS and ensuring language and details are correct.
  • Reviews applications, conducts phone screenings and schedules interviews with the Hiring Managers.
  • Manages the candidate experience in the ATS from application through Onboarding.
  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Writes and places job advertising in various media.
  • Represents the company brand and Human Resources Department in every conversation, email, and interaction with a positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Provides consistent and timely communication to the Director of Human Resources as well as Managing Partners regarding the status of candidates.
  • Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire. Proof of vaccination required.
  • Must be detail focused, take initiative and have excellent proof-reading skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in recruitment.
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills required.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent computer/technical skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong experience with recruiting and interviewing skills.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively with individual both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task under high pressure and demanding situations.
  • Supports workplace diversity.

Corporate Requirements:

  • Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire. Proof of vaccination required.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with no restrictions and possess reliable transportation.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Currently over the age of 21.
  • No felony convictions in the last 10 years.
  • No drug related felony or misdemeanor convictions.
  • Possess or willing to obtain the Agent ID in the state of Missouri.
