The Operations Manager responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations, improving profitability and marketing related programs, receiving products, inventory management, demand/supply and order management planning, quality control, safety, and reporting.

Duties to include:

Recruit, select, train, schedule employees

Communicate/coordinate daily job expectation, planning, customer orders

Logistics management

Responsible for quality control

Enforce policies and procedures

Responsible for maintaining and ordering inventory

Responsible for ordering parts and coordinating repairs

Run a safe injury/accident-free workplace

Establish contracts and pricing for customers

Overseeing invoicing and collections

Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work

Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour, and equipment to meet production targets

Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget

Qualifications

The applicant must have a minimum of 5 years in operations management and a minimum of 2 years truck shop manager experience with excellent knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs

Must have proficient computer skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based programs

Must have leadership ability and social skills

Must be well organized and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Must be honest, trustworthy, and self-motivated

40 hours per week / Day shift

Salary: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
