Working hours: 37 ¾ hours – Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 2pm

Position Overview

Each year we recruit a select number of high-quality graduates who display real management potential. Good A- level grades and a First-class or 2:1 Honours degree or equivalent are required, preferably in finance or business-related degree.

Responsibilities

• Participating in month end close including the cash, fixed assets, intercompany, inventory and revenue cycles under US GAAP
• Preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS
• Variance analysis
• Process review, documentation, and improvement.
• Project activities including system upgrades, migrations and transition of work into GBS UK

Requirements – Education/Experience

• Recent graduate / or graduating June 2022 with First Class or 2:1 Honours Degree or equivalent preferably in a finance/accountancy or business-related degree
• Intention to pursue and obtain professional exams
• Strong computer skills including Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Positive and energetic

Must be a team player able to demonstrate strong customer focus with the energy, drive and commitment to successfully work through any and all issues and objectives related to this role and that of the overall team.
