Terence Marine Inc is Looking for General Help Full Time

General Help with preparing boats to be launched:

-uncovering boats

-vacuuming and cleaning interior, washing hull and cleaning exterior

-helping with installing batteries and checking oils ( for those who are comfortable)

-assisting with delivering boats to boat launch and cottages. you will get paid to drive boats.

-light duty yard work, including collecting and disposing of shrink wrap, collecting and stacking frames, and blocks as well as general tidy up.

-must be prepared to work outdoors in inclement weather, must be able to handle some heavy lifting and light ladder work to climb in and out of boats.

-Valid drivers license

-Reliable transportation.

-Boaters card and asset, knowledge of the Muskoka Lakes an asset.

Duties can vary, but these are the core tasks for the spring launch.

This position is open either for the summer season May-August, or the whole season May-December, but we are also looking for motivated individuals to join our team for full time permanent positions.

There are also other roles available, and we are very interested in personal and professional development for the right candidates. Including the opportunity for apprenticeship, and flexibility in schedule during off season for continuing education.

Wage range is based on attitude, experience, and availability.

Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 20-44 per week

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Clients have been asked to avoid dropping by the facility, rather all communication is by phone or email. Clients have been asked to avoid all contact while we are on their property delivering boats.
