Job Description

TenthAvenue Commerce is seeking a business strategist with strong technical skills to drive our business intelligence efforts for two of our major jewelry brands. As a BI Analyst, you will work closely with the executive leadership team in an expanding and profitable organization specializing in customized gifting. This high visibility position will play a big role in developing strategy, refining operations, and ensuring the continuous improvement of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze company data to identify business opportunities.
• Build and manage Tableau ing to support marketing and merchandising teams.
• Translate customer insights into recommendations for cross functional teams.
• Forecast inventory and place POs.
• Work with operations team to streamline our fulfillment and customer service processes.
• Assist the warehouse team with shipping platform setup and warehouse tracking system data and management.
• Work with wholesale team to onboard new partners, including assisting with EDI.
• Develop predictive forecasting models to optimize our expanding fulfillment efforts.
• Create and analyze customer and email list segments to identify retention rates, lifetime value, and discount affinity.
• Work with marketing team to analyze promotional strategies and customer targeting.
• Work with web team to implement and execute site optimizations.
• Uses Github, Confluence, Jira to properly document and communicate projects with other team members

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or equivalent
• SQL Experience
• 2+ years of professional experience in analytics, business analysis or comparable consumer analytics position
• Ability to work and communicate effectively across multiple departments
• Proficiency in MSOffice Suite, particularly Excel
• Understanding of the ecommerce business model/online retail environment a plus
• Tableau or AWS experience a plus
• Python or other scripting language a plus

This full-time position is based in Old Saybrook, CT. The role will focus specifically on Tenth Avenue Commerce’s customized jewelry and gifting websites (Evesaddiction.com and Brookandyork.com) and warehouse fulfillment service. Benefits include:
