The Role

We are currently looking for an efficient Payroll Officer to deliver end-to-end payroll processing for approximately 150 staff and support with accounts payable and accounting support. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic finance professional who is passionate about both specialist area/ disciplines.

As someone who thrives on working with details in a finance environment, you will be responsible for:

• Full end to end fortnightly payroll. End of Month and End of Financial year processing
• Ensuring all timesheets, payroll adjustments, records and other related material is received and entered prior to close of payroll run.
• Setting up new starters and contract changes in the Chris21
• Calculating and processing termination payments
• Handle all pay and leave queries from staff and managers.
• Participating in yearly payroll and accounts payable functions
• Timely processing and EFT payment of supplier invoices and staff expenses (Concur)
• provide accounts payable and accounting support

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated Payroll and Accounts Payable experience
• A strong willingness to learn and take on ad-hoc tasks to support the team
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Productive work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Outstanding attention to detail, organisation and time-management abilities.
