Your Opportunity :

Tenable is looking for a Software Engineering Manager, UI Engineering to join our Product Development organization. In this role, you will lead a growing team of UI Engineers for multiple core products and will own projects from end-to-end, collaborating with Product Managers, Architects and other Engineering leaders across the company.

You will lead design reviews and participate in architecture discussions for both new and existing products. You will be a key member of Engineering Leadership, responsible for ensuring performance, stability, and an exceptional end user experience for our customers.

What You’ll Need :

• 8 or more years experience in Software Engineering
• 4 or more years experience leading Agile UI development teams
• Experience working in SaaS product development environments with an emphasis on front-end web development
• Expertise in using modern UI technologies – Javascript, ReactJS, D3, etc
• Experience working on multiple SaaS products concurrently
• Experience with API integration
• Lead and manage product testing for web and UI
• Experience leading scrum / sprint planning for teams of 10+
• Experience working across time zones with globally distributed teams
• Experience managing the day-to-day technical and design direction for multiple projects concurrently
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• A keen understanding of customer experience

And Ideally :

• Ability to lead design discussions and influence product vision and go-to-market strategy
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority
• BS in Computer Science, Math or a related discipline
• Extensive knowledge of UX best practices
• Demonstrated thought leadership in UI Design and UX

The base salary range for this position is $151,000 – $201,666.67 USD. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.

Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
