Core Function

The Performance Tester is responsible for ensuring that the quality of our software products reaches the standards expected by the customer and ensuring their continued satisfaction with Telstra Health.

Details Of The Function

• Create detailed test plans with Work Load Model for relevant performance tests. Test Run schedules and Capacity Requirements.

• Assess Impact assesmments current and future versions of applications by conducting various peromarmce tests.
• Script, design and execute performance scenarios. and scenarios via LoadRunner and Jmeter on different platforms with different protocols.
• Develop performance dash boards and troubleshooting performance issues with APM monitoring tools such as New Relic, Dynatrace
• Review test results and communicate to respective stake holders results and risks.
• Suggest process, performance enhancements, Tunning to help and improve the Applications by diagonising application at various levels (Load balancer, Web, Application and DB etc)

We are looking for someone who can clearly demonstrate a number of key attributes and skills:

• 5 years in a Performance Analyst role.
• Ability to perform initial analysis and debugging.
• Writing technical documentation.
• Strong trouble shooting skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies – preferably Scrum.
• Test Automation – Tosca, Performance testing – using JMeter, LoadRunner, CI/CD
• Keeps abreast of new technology and consider using it where appropriate.
• Ability to work within Agile teams and autonomously and possess strong analytical and negotiation skills
