Telstra’s Talent Acquisition and Careers Services function brings together a talented team of people based all around the world to attract the best talent, enhance business performance and deliver an outstanding recruitment service experience. We have a dedicated Squad that supports Projects, Early Careers, high-volume retail and customer service and Strategic Sourcing initiatives.

The Executive Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist plays a key role in ensuring we deliver best practice outcomes across all aspects of the executive recruitment process.

Key accountabilities include:

• Develop and manage the execution of strategic sourcing strategies that enable us to identify and connect with the best talent in the market.
• Build and maintain a healthy talent pipeline for future roles. Proactively determine talent demand and form and evolve critical talent pools within the context of the T25 strategy and ‘Telstra of tomorrow’.
• Collaborate and partner with Executive and Leadership Hiring teams to deliver the best talent to shape Telstra.
• Gather relevant information regarding relevant and tangential sectors and target companies, including identifying potential prospects and sources.
• Contribute to the long list creation by leveraging internal and external databases to provide commentary on potential candidates.
• Anticipate needs to drive the projects to closure and be able to supply additional information, such as related industry trends, market findings, reaction to the opportunity, compensation data, etc.
• Develop effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Experience and Capabilities:

• Sourcing and recruitment experience across in-house and/or agency models.
• Strategic sourcing and research experience.
• Solving problems of moderate complexity in a customer/client facing environment.
• Effective stakeholder management with strong verbal and written communication skills and a high attention to detail.
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment where you are accountable for delivering to multiple stakeholders.
• A creative, proactive and solutions focused mindset combined with intellectual curiosity.
• Intermediate MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge and familiarity using Human Capital Management (HCM)/Applicant Tracking systems (ATS)
