What’s the opportunity?

The Senior Business Analyst will execute business strategy by delivering key project and operational improvements for the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR), working closely with key business and other stakeholder groups. In particular, this role with focus on implementation of the National Lung Cancer Screening Register (NLCSR).

The NCSR plays a vital role in supporting the National Cervical Screening Program, National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and National Lung Cancer Screening Program, giving healthcare providers access to quality health information and making it easier for program participants to take control of their health.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Facilitating workshops with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, document, organise and prioritise requirements.
• Process mapping of all aspects of the NLCSR.
• Leading and delivering analysis of information, modelling of data and presentation outputs to support leadership, internal and external stakeholder decision making.
• Defining, initiating and managing special projects as prioritised and required.
• Facilitating alignment across Clinical, Operational & Project teams via workshops and other means, to achieve common outcomes.
• Contributing to, or leading, business case development where new investment requests are required.

Skills And Knowledge

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a business analyst in an Agile and waterfall software development environment
• Experience working in close collaboration with and being able to influence a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to guide others and also develop key BA deliverables including business and functional requirements, use cases, business processes, customer journeys and options analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail
• Tertiary qualifications in a related business or technology discipline preferred.
• Appropriate qualifications in Agile Methodology (e.g. SCRUM)
• Highly regarded: Business Analyst certification
• Highly desirable: experience within the healthcare sector
