The Role

As a Junior .NET Developer you will be participating in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release. You will be taking a key role in developing software applications that are useable, robust, and scalable, and that meet both functional and non-functional requirements which are essential to create a Virtual health platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release
• Work with QA, BA, developers and UX to ensure development quality is maintained at the highest standard
• Provide technical solutions in terms of code, design and industry best practices to ensure a quality product.
• Document technical designs to enable stakeholders and governance teams to review and endorse solutions being implemented.
• Ensure that developed software meets the business aims of the company and its customers.
• Keeps abreast of new technology and consider using it where appropriate.
• Collaborate with all members of an Agile Development Team
• Produce secure, high performance, maintainable code using industry best practices
• Liaise with the technology manager, other developers and testers in a collaborative team environment

What You’ll Bring

• 1-2 years C# .Net software development experience (full stack)
• Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development framework specially particularly TDD / BDD
• Development testing knowledge – Unit testing using available frameworks such as NUnit
• Proficient in use of source control system, ideally GIT
• Any cloud experience desirable – Azure / AWS
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed timetables
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team to contribute to the overall goals of the group
• Healthcare industry background desirable.
• Any video call solution development (SIP etc) experience would be highly regarded.
