The Opportunity
The Telethon Kids Institute is growing rapidly, and to help support this growth the People and Culture Team require another experienced Talent Advisor to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract!

As a proactive recruiter who uses their initiative to solve problems, you will own all aspects of the recruitment process for a variety of roles across Research and Professional Services, working closely with and supporting Hiring Managers across the Institute.

From offering exceptional service to our hiring managers and candidates to evolving our employee experience while consistently promoting the Institute as an employer of choice to attract the best available talent in the market, you will be passionate about getting to know the Institute, roles and people!

The key aspects of the role are:

• Partnering with hiring managers to create great job descriptions and develop professional and inspiring advertisements.
• Coordinating end to end recruitment including making recommendations to hiring managers on the suitability of candidates and conducting interviews.
• Partnering with supervisors and line managers to understand current and future talent needs and develop sourcing strategies.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of the recruitment process and delivering an interactive and engaging Induction program.

About You
You will be an experienced recruiter preferably having worked inhouse, who thrives under pressure whilst handling competing priorities. The key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following:

• Demonstrated recruitment experience: (sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, VEVO checks, pre-employment medicals etc) with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Be an engaging and influential communicator with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders of various levels of seniority and diversity.
• Experience using and developing inhouse e-recruitment platforms, and ideally at a ‘super user’ level with recruiting platforms such as SEEK Talent Search and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Creative thinking and a willingness to contribute to new ideas and better ways of working.

You will be able to work in a dynamic environment, be adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment and quickly build rapport. With your ‘can do’ attitude and customer first mentality it will help ensure you can hit the ground running!

Conveniently located in the Perth Children’s Hospital, this full-time opportunity will be offered for 6 months in the first instance.
