We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to be part of our Finance team based in our offices at Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands where you would be responsible for working closely with Institute staff, clients and all stakeholders. We are seeking someone on a full-time basis and fixed term for a period of 3 years.

The Role
The Finance Officer will report through to the Finance Manager where some of your responsibilities will include:

• Asset processing and Fixed Asset Register recording and maintenance
• Investment’s processing and register recording and maintenance
• End of month processing including journals
• Credit card processing and system maintenance
• BAS preparation and lodgement

Your Experience
You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize with exceptional attention to detail. In addition, you will also possess the following:

• Commerce degree or similar
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Experience with use of major software packages (Microsoft Office, accounting systems etc)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, able to quickly change priorities and handle competing priorities
• Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
• Capable of working within a team and autonomously, you will have a solution focused approach that will enable you to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
