We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Boy to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
– **Package Delivery**: Deliver parcels to customers at their homes or workplaces, ensuring that each item arrives safely and on time.
– **Route Planning**: Plan and take the best route for deliveries to minimize travel time and ensure punctual arrivals.
– **Customer Interaction**: Interact politely with customers while delivering packages, ensuring they receive a positive experience.
– **Documentation**: Maintain records of deliveries, including collecting signatures and any necessary paperwork to ensure order accuracy.
– **Vehicle Maintenance**: Ensure that the delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition to avoid delays.
Required Skills and Expectations:
– **Good Communication**: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members is essential to provide excellent service.
– **Time Management**: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage delivery schedules and meet tight deadlines.
– **Basic Navigation Skills**: Familiarity with local roads and navigation tools is crucial for efficient delivery routes.
– **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift and carry packages is important, as the job may require handling heavy items.
– **Reliability**: Dependability in attending work on time and completing deliveries as scheduled is a must.
