• The Content Marketing Manager plays a key role on the Data, Digital, and Growth team.
• They will support the execution of Petcare content for the veterinary healthcare team audience under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Content Marketing & SEO.
• Must be highly collaborative, detail oriented, a good writer, a self-starter, and a creative problem solver.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Main duties will include:

Coordinate and track creative review process for marketing materials. Initiate, track, and oversee copy and creative review process through our content management platform. Work across marketing, veterinary operations, legal, and regulatory teams to deliver creative reviews on time. Assist with writing creative briefs and providing direction to agencies and freelancers. Manage multiple rounds of edits while keeping style guidelines top of mind.

Project manage editorial calendar. Actively manage a robust editorial calendar (include articles, videos, videos, tools, and website content) with multiple stakeholders using Asana. Ensure items are on track to publish and hold others accountable for timelines.

Create, edit, and source content. Edit and rewrite content to ensure it follows brand style guidelines, is optimized for search engines, and reflects content marketing best practices. Source stock photos and UGC for content. Repurpose content into other formats (web, print, video). Write short-form content as needed to accompany existing assets.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• 5-7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in content marketing or digital marketing
• Previous experience in the animal health industry a plus (in-house or agency)
• Basic SEO experience (keyword research, SEO copywriting)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• A passion for results and ability to quickly adapt to change
• Up to date on content marketing trends and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint), Asana (or other task management platforms), and Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and content management systems

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $32.00 – $42.00 per hour
