Description:
As a technical support specialist, you will be the frontline support for users that own, operate, and maintain kiosks and micro markets at the customer site. Primarily your job will be troubleshooting customer issues as it pertains to network connectivity and ensuring that the devices are configured properly to sit on a customer network. This could include troubleshooting network settings, what ports are open, working with a network team to ensure it has access to customer firewalls and other security measures. The devices must stay active while being compliant customer network configuration as well as being compliant with the required settings for our client to keep the machine up and running. All of these devices are running a base Linux OS and have proprietary software loaded on the OS to ensure customers have a seamless and consistent experience. This is the team they use to promote individuals into a variety of other IT teams including: Networking, programming, hardware and kiosk installs, Technical Sales, and Information Security. The issues you’ll be troubleshooting on the daily basis will be around:
-Bios settings
-Network configuration
-SMTP protocols
-Identifying ports on a router
-Understanding how routers work to diagnosis the issues at hand
-Sub-netting
-DNS settings
-Customer accounts and accessibility

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Need to have base networking knowledge combined with traditional EUS skillset. Candidates with educational backgrounds in networking, CCNA, and Network+ have been ideal in the past.
Needs to know: OSI Models, network troubleshooting, subnetting, static IP, SMTP, DHCP concepts.
