POSITION SUMMARY :

This firm is hiring several roles to work as a Software Engineer (all levels). You will have your choice to work as a Server-Side / Backend Engineer, Fullstack Engineer, Frontend / UI Engineer or Mobile Developer / Mobile Engineer joining one of several different Software Infrastructure teams (Client Lifecycle, Authorization, Identity Management, Vector, Persistence Layer, Inception, Time Machine, Cloud Security, DevOps, SDET, Metadata Test, Data Movement, etc.).

You will responsible for developing cloud-based SaaS software applications solutions for external and internal clients. Software Engineers are involved in all aspects of the Agile software development life cycle (SDLC) and work with engineering leaders, product managers, technical product managers, technical business data analysts, technical architects, solutions architects and other engineers to plan, design, develop, test and implement next generation technology solutions consistent with the business objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver highly automated, intelligent, and predictive solutions for client offerings
• Responsible for building out the Core frameworks of the Meta Data Driven Platform being developed in house, including building out the Source Control Management piece that will allow application developers to have their own isolated development environment.
• Deliver innovative solutions to drive next generation user experiences, designs, and technologies
• Responsible for ensuring the successful transition to a Service Oriented Architecture framework with the help of containers.
• Spearhead POC’s on the latest technologies and help choose the right tool for the right job

You’ll need to have (Required Skills) :

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related STEM field (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience).

With strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and run time optimization

• Strong Object Oriented (OOP) concepts knowledge, with experience working with any of the following programming languages such as JavaScript, NodeJS, C#, Java, C++, Ruby on Rails, Python
• Requires 2-7+ years of Software Engineering, Software Development, Programming or Coding with release into a production environment.
• Knowledge of one of the JavaScript frameworks such as NodeJS, Angular2 / AngularJS, ReactJS, React Native, BackboneJS, MeteorJS or EmberJS
• Must have experience with Browser Technologies, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
• Knowledge of Agile development methodology

We’d love to see (Desired Skills) :

• Experience with at least one major web development stack, preferably MEAN
• Technical knowledge of RDBMS or NoSQL
• Ideally, experience with Node.js for Server Side development
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
