About Teenage Helpline
Teenage Helpline is an online mentoring service run by young people to be used by young people. The aims of Teenage Helpline are to provide the first stepping-stone for young people who may need to get professional support, but do not feel comfortable seeking this support for themselves. Not only this, but we also provide mentoring for young people who do not need professional support, but who need a little extra attention and support to help them cope with other personal issues.

As Recruitment Team Leader – Talent Acquisition, you will work with two other team leaders to ensure successful coordination of the recruitment process. You will be responsible for leading the Talent Acquisition Team, leading Talent Acquisition Advisors and taking a key part in candidate selection. This team is responsible for initially screening candidates, and reviewing where best their skills may sit in Teenage Helpline.
You will be responsible for supporting any issues the Talent Acquisition Advisors raise to you, ensuring that candidate pools are created and maintained and helping to develop the overall recruitment team as Teenage Helpline continues to grow. You will be supported by the Recruitment Manager.
This role will be key is helping us continue to source fantastic candidates and develop our team.
This role is voluntary and based remotely. It is a requirement you will have your own device to work from.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and look after wellbeing of team of volunteers
Ensuring process and procedure are followed to ensure good quality service
Providing guidance to volunteers
Escalating any issues as necessary to Recruitment Manager
Providing suggestions for continuous improvement in recruitment processes
Sharing knowledge as required
Encouraging a positive team relationship
Maintaining good working relations with other services
Managing team of Talent Acquisition Advisors
Responsibility for ensuring candidates are directed to appropriate roles according to their skills and experience
