Teenage Helpline is an online mentoring service run by young people to be used by young people. The aims of Teenage Helpline are to provide the first stepping-stone for young people who may need to get professional support but do not feel comfortable seeking this support for themselves. Not only this, but we also provide mentoring for young people who do not need professional support, but who need a little extra attention and support to help them cope with other personal issues.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our charity and contribute to our aim of supporting youth to fulfill their best potential. As the HR Operations Team Leader, you will work alongside one other team leader to ensure the smooth running of the charity’s HR operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of 4 HR Leads, who play a key role in the development of HR policies, managing HR projects, and providing people management support to the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a team of 4 HR Leads, leading and looking after the wellbeing of the team
Providing guidance and training for volunteers within the team, ensuring correct processes are followed, and escalating any issues as necessary to the HR Manager
Providing suggestions for the continuous improvement of the HR processes
Maintaining good working relations with other services
Encourage a positive working environment, supporting a safe and productive workplace
There will also be the opportunity to manage HR projects and contribute to the development of HR policies if desired.

Excellent organisation and time management skills
Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
An enthusiastic and positive attitude
An interest in HR is desirable, but experience is not required
