Talent Acquisition Specialist

We now have an exciting, full-time opportunity for an experienced and energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to help develop our employees, retain our best people, and attract exceptional talent.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning with a dotted line to the HR Director, Europe & Asia, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee all Recruitment operations for the overall benefit of Tecomet and its people across the non-US locations (Sheffield- UK, Cork -Ireland ,Penang- Malaysia, Lille – France)
Ideally you will be an experienced professional with a deep knowledge of HR operations and admin, as well as talent management, training, retention, and attraction. You will have the proven ability to successfully manage programs and critical projects through to delivery and set up. You will also have proven ability of possessing a strong strategic mindset, the required soft skills, and excellent communication and presentation acumen.
Primary Purpose:
· Work with internal and external business partners to identify, engage, attract, and acquire talent for the enterprise.
· Establish strategic partnerships with business leaders to fully understand talent needs, collect market intelligence and assess cultural fit for the organization.
· Leverage knowledge of the talent needed to create recruiting, marketing, and sourcing strategies to find qualified candidates.
· Partner with business and human resource leaders to strategically influence hiring decisions that lead to quickly identifying, selecting, and closing the right candidates by selling the vision and mission of Tecomet.
Key Responsibilities
· Possesses the ability to flex across the talent acquisition organization to recruit talent for Manufacturing roles both hourly and salary, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Business Support Functions and Quality professional roles.
· Uses Intake Meetings to collaborate with Hiring Managers to define requirements, delineate and implement recruiting strategy, establish recruiting delivery expectations, establish weekly communication updates.
· Defining and executing sourcing strategies including the use of various social media, external networks, referral programs, organizations, job boards, etc.
· Partners with hiring managers to streamline the recruiting processes to create positive candidate experiences.
· Ensures that diversity and inclusion practices are recognized, adopted, and integrated into recruitment strategies to ensure opportunities are exposed to diverse talent pools.
· Develop, implement, track, and publish metrics that evaluate the health and stability of talent acquisition programs.
· Managing the offer and negotiation process to include pre-closing and ultimately closing of candidates.
· Responsibilities also include workforce planning with business partners, candidate tracking, conducting interviews, extending job offers, and data collection on internal candidates.
· Owning on site recruitment open days
This is a key role within our business and the ideal candidate should have:
· Proven experience (of at least 5 years) as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, preferably in an evolving, high-pace business environment (preferably Manufacturing/Medical Device Industries).
· Relevant qualifications and certifications in Human Resources / Talent Management and thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and best practices, employment legislation and regulations, and compensation and benefits packages.
· Expert Internet search tools and Internet sourcing strategies.
· Knowledge and experience working with Candidate Management Systems and Human Resources software.
· Receptive to ideas and suggestions, with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Expert presentation and negotiation skills.
· Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
· Excellent computer skills including ATS systems.
· Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition trends.
· The ability to innovate and come up new ideas around recruiting talent.
· The ability to influence others and build strategic partnerships with hiring leaders.
· Flexibility to Travel as needed (overnight stays) and flexibility to work additional hours for business needs
· High ethical standards, and the ability to coach and manage individuals and teams
