Tecnis Academy Hiring for Scottish Qualified Teachers – Maths, English & Science (Virtual) Job at Chatham, England Full Time

Tecnis Academy is seeking to hire Qualified and experienced Science, Maths and English Tutor on a part time permanent basis. You will be passionate about supporting our pupils to learn, grow, and succeed in their academics following the UK teaching curriculum. You will be friendly, organised, flexible and adaptable to our dynamic academy working environment. You demonstrate leadership and are fully committed to teaching your agreed classes.

Responsibilities:

You will be punctual for all lessons, at least 5 to 10 minutes before your classes start.

You will be responsible for planning and teaching your agreed classes using the UK teaching curriculum and marking once a month, on Google classroom.

You will not use your mobile phone while teaching. All phones must be off.

You will ensure that all lessons are streamed to Tecnis’s private Facebook.

You will ensure that you have your class attendance list updated on a weekly basis.

You will be responsible for setting homework on a weekly basis.

You will be responsible for making students accountable for their homework, class work and punctuality.

You will ensure that all students have their camera on in class.

For safeguarding purposes, you will ensure that all lessons are recorded.

You will be responsible for ensuring to find cover for your classes if for any reason you are going to be absent. Please reach out to the Tutor who would stand in for you in good time, so they can plan.

Preferred Qualities & Experience:

You will be fully committed to Tecnis Academy till at least the end of the school year.

QTS and PGCE Qualified or currently completing.

Minimum of 1 year teaching experience. Private tutoring experience welcome.

You will be flexible to accommodate the learning style of each student.

You will be committed to working with Tecnis Academy as an employee and not offer your service to parents of the pupils of the academy.

Pay: Tecnis Academy offers a competitive hourly rate depending on experience. All payments are made to your bank account on a monthly basis.
