Techvestor Hiring for Investor Relations Associate Job at Remote Full Time

Techvestor is a real estate investment and development company specializing in high yielding short term rental (STR) projects, aka what many people know as AirBnBs.

We help people invest in Airbnbs passively, by investing with us directly to earn tax advantaged cash flow, equity growth and risk adjusted ROIs.

Our approach is to bring an energetic new perspective to the soon to be institutionalized asset class of STRs. We built our own technology to find, source and discover the best STRs there are for our investors.

The investor experience is front and center and relies heavily on you, our investor relations team. You’re the first point of contact when someone decides to learn more about investing in this asset class. We work with both private and institutional capital and our team is growing rapidly.

This role is for an Investor Relations Associate who will be responsible for interfacing and securing investments from professionals through a targeted fundraising strategy. This position will aim to raise money for our firm, so we can continue to grow and execute on new projects.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Take inbound investor calls with prospective limited partners who are interested in learning more
• Educate them on the opportunity, answering their questions about the industry, the team, the technology and walking them through our deck
• Follow up with prospective LPs, very similar to that of a sales role using tools like a CRM, Zoom, Slack, Gmail and more
• Create and maintain LP relationships with retail investors, family offices, high net worth, RIAs and institutional investors
• Be persistent with an education and listen first mentality; our goal is to educate first and only welcome LPs if it’s a good mutual fit
• Maintain the fundraising CRM, prepare/update marketing presentations (with help from back office), create and organize due diligence materials

Your Skills and Experience should include:

• Lead Generation and Lead Cultivation
• Sales Development, Business Development, Capital Development or similar

• Extensive experience in investor relations/fundraising/sales, with a proven track record of raising capital in the institutional & private marketplace for Private Real Estate OR achieving high sales targets in sales driven environment such as software sales or similar

• Deep product knowledge in alternative investments or real estate highly preferred

• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to understand all investment nuances but also be able to translate complex investment strategies into an investor-friendly format

Pay: $50,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
